With a deep passion for helping families achieve their dream retirements, Spencer takes pride in successfully guiding clients through the complexities of retirement planning and ensuring their financial confidence.
Spencer was drawn to the financial industry because of his desire to assist families and understand how clients obtained their assets to gain insights into their relationship with money. This holistic approach allows Spencer to create tailored financial strategies aligning with each client’s needs and goals.
Before joining Wood Financial Group, Spencer gained experience as a financial advisor at firms like Merrill Lynch. Over the years, Spencer has assisted hundreds of families in managing their finances and preserving their futures. He graduated from High Point University and holds health, life, accident and annuity insurance licenses. He also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation.
Spencer is married to his college sweetheart, Paige. Together, they share their home with their dog, Rudy, and enjoy cycling, hiking and watching movies. Paige and Spencer recently welcomed their first child, a heathy and smiling boy.
